A competition-grade falling plate rack, designed and built in New Zealand for clubs and serious pistol shooters.

Six 200 mm plates, a centre-mounted reset bar and AR500 steel targets and front guard. You get instant feedback when a plate falls, and you reset all six from the line without walking downrange.

Features

  • Centre-mounted reset bar. The reset load is spread evenly across the rack, so it stays straight and reliable after thousands of resets. This comes with 2m of steel cable to connect your own rope to so it will be fine with any spall.
  • Spring-buffered plates. Each plate has its own buffer, so a falling plate doesn’t knock its neighbors down. Every plate that falls was hit.
  • Adjustable plate angle. Set the plate angle to suit the calibre you’re shooting, for reliable falls and controlled deflection.
  • 200mm/8" plates as standard. The 8" size used for plate racks in practical and speed pistol disciplines.
  • 12mm AR500 strike faces. The plates and front guard are 12 mm AR500. Other exposed parts are 10 mm AR500.
  • Replaceable mild steel legs. The legs are bolt-on, so you can replace them without replacing the rack. These are mild steel so they do not create a ricochet problem.
  • Tab-and-slot construction. Precision laser-cut parts give consistent fit and alignment from rack to rack.
  • Every part available as a spare. Plates, springs, linkages, legs and fasteners can all be ordered separately, so your rack stays in service for years. If you need replacement parts, please email us.
