Rubber straps are a long lasting great way to hang permanent plates. Put up a 2x4 between two waratahs and it makes a great single or multi target array. These are double ended too, so when it eventually gets cut a bit because you haven't trued your data, you can take it off and flip it around.
At 10mm thick 3 ply conveyor rubber, these will take a beating and keep going. The M20 bolt will also not let you down, backed with a nylock nut and 2 washers.
We recommend putting a washer between the plate and the strap, then a washer and nut on the back. This helps with deflection angle and spall cutting on the strap.
